The company specialized in mowing, Aannemingsbedrijf Gebr. van de Ven from Someren, had a machine with an extremely low ground pressure. A regular mobile or crawler excavator was definitely not suitable for mowing in very wet and muddy conditions. As director Jan van de Ven had excellent experiences with VTS Constructions, he explained his problem to these specialists.

They came up with an excellent solution: they took a basic 7.5 ton excavator Takeuchi TB 175 W. Of this, they used only the upper structure, the undercarriage was completely new constructed. This was provided with so-called high-speed tracks. Advantages are the low ground pressure, the reduced vibration when driving (compared to a track), the machine has a high speed of 12 km / h and cutting productivity is much higher, by the rapid movement of the machine while working. Finally, the stability of the machine greatly improved by a more favorable moment due to the totally modified construction.
